The delegation from Ludwigsburg Finance and Public Administration University in Germany visited SCUN

From October 30 to November 3, the delegation from LudwigsburgPublic Administration and Finance University in Germany visited the universityfor exchange and visit. On the morning of November 3, the graduation ceremonyof the delegation's exchange and visit was held at the International AcademicConference Center.

The activity first reviewed the visit and exchange achievements inthe past five days. The delegation visited successively the Museum of Ethnologyof our university, Wuhan Yellow Crane Tower and Hubei Provincial Museum. Theylearned Chinese, martial arts, paper-cut, calligraphy, and experienced somefeature activities such as making dumplings. Prof. Schäfer and Prof. Wallingheld an academic lecture at the School of Public Management and participated inthe China-Germany Public Management Talent Cultivation High-LevelForum. They exchanged views on social security system, vocationaleducation, human resources management in the public sector, talent cultivationand education system.

Prof. Schäfer and Professor Walling expressed their gratitude forthe warm andthoughtful reception of the school. They stated that since theestablishment of inter-school partnership in 1999, the traditional friendshipbetween the two schools for more than ten years has always been rooted in thehearts of both teachers and students, and hoped that both sides will make jointefforts to continue the friendship between the two schools.

Student representatives believe that through exchange visits, theyhave experienced the rich and varied campus cultural activities of our schooland learned about the extensive and profound historical culture of China, therapid development of modern society, and the differences and commonalitiesbetween Chinese and Western cultures.

Finally, the relevant persons in charge of the Institute ofInternational Education issued certificates of completion for members of thegroup.

Afterthe meeting, vice-president Du Dongyun met and sent off the delegation. Hepointed out that through the combination of cultural experience, curriculumteaching and academic lectures, the delegation not only understood Chineseculture, but also deeply understood the specialty construction characteristics ofour school, laying a foundation for the further development of cultural andacademic exchanges between the two schools. He sincerely hopes that both sideswill continue to strengthen cooperation and promote exchanges in various fieldssuch as teaching, scientific research,and culture.
