Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the list of the first batch of New Engineering research and practice projects. The project Reform and Practice of New Engineering Terraced Fields Training Mode Based on Engineering Education Accreditation and Multi-party Collaborative Environment hosted by Profess Sun Jie, come from Resources and Environment department of SCUN, was awarded Approvals.
The project submitted by Professor Sun Jie is based on the quality standards of engineering education certification. It will follow the principles of “respecting differences, flexible management, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, and scientific evaluation” and implements the classification of individuality through school-enterprise cooperation, international cooperation, and alumni participation ways, cultivates new engineering specialties for industry, for the world, and for the future, trains key technical talents and industry leaders in environmental protection engineering in ethnic regions. The approval of “New Engineering” research and practice project will play an important role in promoting the construction of engineering majors, practicing new concepts in engineering education, and improving the quality of engineering personnel training.
