Professor Li Jinlin Is Selected by the List of Chinese Most Cited Researchers of Elsevier for 4 Consecutive Years

On Jan. 19, Elsevier officially releases the list of Chinese Most Cited Researchers in 2017 and professor Li Jinlin of SCUN is selected as most cited researchers of the above list in the chemical engineering field. Since the list is pushed out in 2014, professor Li Jinlin has been selected for 4 consecutive years (2014-2017). 

Professor Li Jinlin researches heterogeneous catalysis and catalytic material, mainly carries out fundamental research as well as application and development pertaining to catalytic conversion of carbon-based resources and nanometer catalytic materials mainly according to great demand of efficient conversion and utilization regarding carbonic resources such as coal, natural gas and biomass in the state, especially in the race region and based on chiastopic fusion of catalytic chemistry and nanometer materials and enjoys high popularity and influence in relevant domestic academic field. In recent years, professor Li Jinlin undertakes more than 10 national and provincial major projects such as National Science and Technology Support Program, special project for preliminary research of 973 plan, major project of National Natural Science Foundation of China- Petrifaction Collaborative Fund and Hubei Major Scientific and Technological Innovation Plan; He publishes more than 110 SCI papers as of 2002, cited for more than 4000 times; He wins authorization of 24 national invention patents and 7 ministerial and provincial science and technology awards. 

According to introduction, list of Chinese Most Cited Researchers of Elsevier carries out system analysis on the influence of Chinese researches in the world on the basis of objective reference data from Scopus which is the world's biggest peer review academic paper index abstract database and presents Chinese scholars which are the most influential in the world to the academic world and the public. The list covers subject areas such as science, technology, medicine, social sciences, art and humanity. 1793 scholars in China are selected by the list in 2017, of which 93 scholars from chemical engineering field are selected by the list.
