SCUN Students Achieve Good Results in the 12th World Rope Skipping Championships

During July 27-August 1, the 12th World Rope SkippingChampionships organized by the World Rope Skipping League, presented by the General Administrationof Sport of China and the NationalRope Skipping Promotion Center, and co-organized by the Federation ofUniversity Sports of China (FUSC) and Chinese School Sports Federation (CSSF) was heldat Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Students Liu Wenlong, JiangKun, Jiang Jifan, and Feng Lin from SCUN’s Department of Physical Educationparticipated in the mixed four-player double Dutch contest as the Chinese teamplayers. They competed with 30 national or regional teams and finally won theseventh place in this item.

Rope skipping has been an advantageous sport of SCUN. With the care andsupport of SCUN, all colleges (schools) and relevant departments, SCUN RopeSkipping Team, since established in 2016, has achieved good results ininternational and domestic competitions for many times. 

The World Rope SkippingChampionships, held once every four years, is a highest-level and mostinfluential rope skipping event in the world. The 12th World RopeSkipping Championships is an international Class A contest filed with theMinistry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the GeneralAdministration of Sport of China. It was the first time that this event washeld in Mainland China, which attracted more than 700 top players from 30countries and regions.
