SCUN Students Win Eight Special Prizes in Hubei “TI Cup” Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest

Recently, the results of Hubei “TI Cup” Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest 2018 were released. SCUN students’ entries win eight special prizes, seven first prizes, nine second prizes, and one third prize, with the quantity and quality of prizes reaching a new record high.

SCUN paid great attention to the contest. The College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the College of Electronics and Information, the College of Computer Science, and the College of Biomedical Engineering of SCUN have done lots of organization work for the contest. They conducted pre-competition training conferences, cultivation and selection of seeded players, team building and examination, on-the-spot technical guidance and safeguard services in an orderly manner. After strict screening, 44 teams were selected to participate in the contest on behalf of SCUN. Starting from 8 o 'clock on July 20 and ending at 24 o 'clock on July 23, under the guidance of the tutors, the participating student teams of SCUN performed excellently and finished and submitted their works on time to the Organizing Committee.

The National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest is a college discipline contest initiated by the Ministry of Education and a scientific and technological innovation and skill competition activity designated by Hubei Provincial Department of Education for college students in 2018. It is aimed at promoting the reform of curriculum systems and contents of information and electronics disciplines in universities. It is reported that 434 teams from 52 universities in the province entered the work testing link, with 47 special prizes awarded by the Organizing Committee.
