Recently, the results of the 10th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students Hubei Division were released. The works selected and sent by SCUN win five first prizes, nine second prizes, 10 third prizes, and 26 honorable mentions, with an award-winning rate of up to 48.5%.
SCUN has been paying great attention to the competition and regarding it as a brand competition. SCUN’s College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Fine Arts Academy, and School of Literature, Journalism and Communication have done lots of organization work for the competition. They conducted pre-competition publicity conferences, publication of competition guide, application for and review of on-campus competition, and work recommendation for provincial competition in an orderly manner. The on-campus competition received a total of 205 entries. After intense competition, 103 works were selected for Hubei provincial competition on behalf of SCUN. A total of 50 works of SCUN won prizes in the provincial competition, and the winning works have been submitted to the national finals.
The National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students is a national Class A discipline competition guided by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, jointly organized by China Association of Higher Education and the Steering Committee of Journalism and Communication Teaching in Universities of the Ministry of Education, and presented by the Communication University of China and the Organizing Committee of the National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students. So far, it is the largest national competition for college students with wide coverage, a large number of participants and high-level entries. It is reported that a total of 69 colleges and universities competed in the 10th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students Hubei Division, and a total of 1,349 excellent works have been selected to participate in the national finals.
