Recently, the final of the 13th National “NXP Cup” Intelligent Vehicle Contest for College Students closed. The six teams of SCUN achieved outstanding results, winning four first prizes and two second prizes, with the number and quality of the prizes creating new high.
We regarded the contest as a brand competition. Our School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, School of Electronics and Information Engineering, and School of Computer Science did lots of organization work. They actively conducted pre-competition training for the tutors, cultivation and selection of the seeded players, establishment and examination of the teams participating in the contest, technical guidance and safeguard service. Through fierce contest in the south-central China competition area, six teams of SCUN entered the national contest.
The 13th National “NXP Cup” Intelligent Vehicle Contest for College Students, themed “Artificial Intelligence Leads Education and Life”, set up six racing groups, namely four-wheel optoelectronic vehicle group, two-wheel upright vehicle group, three-wheel electromagnetic vehicle group, wireless energy-saving vehicle group, vehicle meeting group, and beacon group. In addition, there were creativity group, primary and secondary school group, and outdoor road challenge. The contest attracted more than 3,000 teams from about 300 colleges and universities all over the country, with nearly 20,000 college students and primary and secondary students involved. After fierce competition, 343 teams from 152 universities entered the national final.
On the afternoon of August 25, the closing ceremony of the national final and prize giving ceremony was held at Xiamen University in Zhangzhou Development Zone. The six teams of SCUN all won prizes. OverU Team won the second place of the first prize in the electromagnetic upright vehicle group, Zhangfei Team won the second place of the first prize, 0.618 Team won the fourth place of the first prize, and Keeping Right Team won the fifth place of the first prize in the wireless energy-saving vehicle group, Diting Team won the second prize in the beacon group, and Duoju Intelligence Team won the second prize in the three-wheel electromagnetic vehicle group.
