SCUN Signs a Cooperation Framework Agreement with DeepBlue Technology (Shanghai)

On November 6, SCUN president Li Jinlin and vice-president Duan Chao went to Shanghai to discuss the cooperation issue with DeepBlue Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and signed a cooperation framework agreement with DeepBlue, aimed at further promoting SCUN’s work related to the “Returning intelligence and capital to Wuhan” activity. Zhou Xianwang, mayor of Wuhan, heads of relevant bodies of Wuhan Municipal People’s Government, Chen Haibo, chairman of DeepBlue Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Nie Qingping, SCUN alumnus and chairman of SIXIANGQIAO (Shanghai) Enterprise Development Co., Ltd., were present at the negotiation meeting and the signing ceremony.

On the afternoon of November 6, Mayor Zhou Xianwang, accompanied by the leaders of SCUN and the heads of DeepBlue, inspected relevant projects of DeepBlue and got to know in depth the development of DeepBlue. He highly appreciated relevant products such as Panda smart bus, intelligent driving system, intelligent robot, AI chip, and smart city system.

Chairman Chen Haibo briefly introduced the basic situation of DeepBlue and explained its planning for the establishment of DeepBlue headquarters in Central China. President Li Jinlin, on behalf of SCUN, expressed gratitude to Wuhan Municipal People’s Government for its long-term concern and support and introduced SCUN’s cooperation with DeepBlue and its preparations for the “Returning intelligence and capital to Wuhan” activity. 

Mayor Zhou Xianwang, on behalf of Wuhan Municipal People’s Government, showed gratitude to SCUN, DeepBlue and Capital Bridge for supporting Wuhan’s construction and SCUN’s “Returning intelligence and capital to Wuhan” activity. He pointed out that Wuhan is a city having outstanding geographical advantages, rich in education, talent, environment and other resources and having strong creativity and development vitality. At present, Wuhan's industrial ecological environment is forming and the scale effect is gradually shaping, with a good development momentum. Wuhan's supporting urban functions are becoming increasingly complete, which will further promote Wuhan's industrial development towards “large-scale, clustered and intensified”. He also expressed welcome to DeepBlue’s settlement in Wuhan and intensive and in-depth cooperation with the universities and enterprises in Wuhan to promote the development of Wuhan.    

Witnessed by Mayor Zhou Xianwang, as well as the heads of relevant bodies of Wuhan Municipal People’s Government, DeepBlue and Capital Bridge, President Li Jinlin and Chairman Chen Haibo, respectively on behalf of SCUN and DeepBlue, signed a cooperation framework agreement. According the agreement, both parties will have cooperation in the aspects of jointly building DeepBlue College, conducting scientific research, supporting students in innovation and entrepreneurship, and conducting training for cadres in minority areas.  

DeepBlue Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is a platform-type world-class artificial intelligence manufacturing enterprise integrating fundamental research, application development, software output and hardware manufacturing in one, with its businesses covering 10 fields, including automatic drive, intelligent robot, and biological intelligence. DeepBlue plans to establish its Central China headquarters in Wuhan, develop an academic highland based on the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, join hands with the universities in Wuhan to train artificial intelligence talents, and establish an artificial intelligence industry demonstration zone.
