Recently, the Ministry ofEducation published the Announcement ofthe Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education on Releasingthe List of the First Industry-University Cooperation Collaborative EducationPrograms of 2018 Supported by Enterprises. Sixteen programs of SCUN havebeen approved in relation to “teaching content and curriculum system reform”,“faculty training”, “practice condition and practice base construction”, and“innovation and entrepreneurship education reform”.
Industry-universitycooperation collaborative education programs are the talent cultivation reformprograms of the Ministry of Education for implementing the Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on DeepeningInnovation andEntrepreneurshipEducation Reform in Institutions of Higher Learning, innovating in theindustry-university cooperation collaborative education mechanism, gatheringresources of famous enterprises at home and abroad to support comprehensiveprogram reform and innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges anduniversities.
As we know, four programsof SCUN were approved in the first batch in 2017 and 12 in the second batch in2017, and this time SCUN has made a new breakthrough. The implementation ofrelevant programs will further promote SCUN’s development in industry-educationintegration and university-enterprise cooperation, facilitate connotationconstruction of specialties, improve practical teaching conditions, andaccelerate the establishment of a new collaborative education mechanismfeaturing all-round and whole-course in-depth integration. The approval of the programsnot only represents the full implementation of the spirit of the NationalEducation Conference, but also will greatly drive universities together withindustries, departments and enterprises to jointly construct education basesand perfect a practical education mechanism that features cooperation, mutualwin, openness and sharing.
