In recent days, SCUN art troupe are going on a performance tour in Pakistan and Nepal. On the afternoon of October 23, the troupe do exceedingly well in their first performance at National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, Pakistan. The performance hall is filled up by audience.
Muhammad，director general of National University of Modern Languages, and You Yi, cultural counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan make speeches. They extend their warm welcome to the art troupe and wishes to the great success of the performance. They hope to enhance cultural exchange and friendship between China and Pakistan.

The performance opens with the dance Colourful China. With the unique Chinese ethnic dance features, the performers immediately warm the audience up with their enthusiastic movements and postures. The horse-head fiddle solos, Ten Thousand Horses Galloping and The Mongolian, present to audience Mongolian people’s longing for free and enthusiastic life. The Chinese folk song, Jasmine Flower, shows Chinese people’s good-neighbourliness. Face-changing in Sichuan Opera and the Tibetan Group Dance, Ze Rou, won the applause from the audience.
After the performance, the audience go to talk and interact with the performers and take photos. You Yi gives recognition to the performance and hopes that the troupe will keep going on a successful tour in the following days.
It is learned that, following the assignment of Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters, SCUN art troupe will present 7 performances at the Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms in Pakistan and Nepal from October 22nd to November 2nd.
