On the afternoon of September 26th, professor Umemoto Kouichi from International Exchange Office of Nippon Bunri University and section chief Kiyota Yoshihiro from International Programs Office of Nippon Bunri University visited SCUN. Professor Wang Shizhong, director of International Affairs Office of SCUN, received the visiting delegates at SCUN’s Academic Exchange Center. The two sides negotiated on potential cooperation programs and reached initial cooperation intentions.
During the meeting, Director Wang extended a warm welcome to the Nippon Bunri University visiting delegates, and he made a brief introduction of SCUN. He said that SCUN and NBU have established intercollegiate partnership for many years, and the two universities have been closely working together on developing Japanese language short-term training program, faculty exchange programs and other programs of mutual interest based on the principle of mutual trust and benefit. And he looked forward to SCUN’s relationship with NBU blossoming in mutual benefit of our respective students, faculty and staff.
Professor Umemoto Kouichi extended his appreciation to SCUN for our hospitality and wonderful arrangements during their stay at SCUN. He said that, NBU and SCUN have established collaborative relationship for ten years and achieved quite good results. NBU has very great academic and research strength in Mechanism Manufacture, Artificial Intelligence and Game Development. He sincerely hoped that NBU could work with SCUN in those areas and explore new collaborative initiatives in the next ten years.
During the meeting, the two sides reached initial cooperation intentions in areas of Mechanism Manufacture, Artificial Intelligence and other areas of mutual interests.
