Taiwan Shih Hsin University Delegation Visited SCUN

On September 27th, Professor Shu-Hwa Chiu, Vice-President of Taiwan Shih Hsin University, professor Su Jianzhou from SHU Department of Communications Management, Lu Sheng from SHU School of Lifelong Learning, Zeng Qihong from SHU Service Center visited SCUN. Zhao Xiaoshan, Vice-President of SCUN, and leaders of College of Literature, Journalism and Communication and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of SCUN met with the visiting delegates at SCUN’s Academic Exchange Center.

The delegation firstly watched SCUN’s publicity video. Later, Zhao Xiaoshan, Vice-President of SCUN, extended his warmest welcome to Taiwan Shih Hsin University delegation and congratulated SHU on its forthcoming 60th Anniversary. He then introduced the academic and scientific achievements SCUN and SHU have cooperatively reached since the year 2010 when SCUN and SHU established intercollegiate partnership.

Shu-Hwa Chiu, Vice-President of SHU, extended her appreciation to SCUN for our continued support of SHU. She sincerely hoped that the two universities could continue to cooperate in the relative advantage disciplines of Journalism andCommunication, as well as explore new collaborative potentials in other areas, so as to promote cooperation and exchange between our respective faculty and students.

After the meeting, SHU delegation visited SCUN’s College of Literature, Journalism and Communication. They introduced to SCUN students the basic situation of SHU and related regulations and rules of short-term study at SHU. Shu-Hwa Chiu said that, dozens of SCUN students come to study at SHU every year. And she hoped that more SCUN students could study at SHU and the two universities could deepen cooperation and exchange in the future.
