SCUN's students won one first prize, one second prize, two third prizes and one excellence prize in the Second National Students' Life Science Contest according to the contest result announced recently.
This contest is jointly organized by the University Biology Teaching Committee of the Ministry of Education, the College Biology Teaching Committee of the Ministry of Education, the College Biological Technology and Engineering Teaching Committee of the Ministry of Education, and the University Biology Teaching Research (Electronic Edition) magazine. SCUN has made outstanding achievements in the contest under the leadership of its Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the College of Life Science.
It is reported that 375 colleges and universities participated in 4,521 events in the contest. Entries are first selected by experts from all provinces, and the shortlisted ones are selected to enter the finals. Only those winning the first and second prizes at the provincial level can participate in the final match of the national contest. The final was held in Henan University in November 2018. In the end, 41 first prizes, 61 second prizes, 366 third prizes and 540 winning prizes were decided.
