Recently, the 2020 "Hongshan Good People" selection list was announced. After being recommended and approved by the judges, Han Xiaole of SCMZU was elected as the " Hongshan Good People 2020".

Han Xiaole is currently director of the Physical Chemistry Teaching and Research Section of the School of Chemistry and Materials Science and secretary of the Party branch. Since assuming her work in June 2012, she has remained true to her original aspirations, kept her mission in mind, and insisted on strictly demanding herself in accordance with the "Four Haves" standards of a good teacher. She has devoted herself to the teaching, scientific research, and popular science work frontline, cultivating the youth by virtue, teaching and training earnestly. Han Xiaole has successively won first prize of the National Science Popularization Contest, and honorable titles such as "National Science Popularization Work Advanced Worker", "National Top Ten Science Popularization Envoys", " State Ethnic Affairs Commission Youth Teaching Model", " South-Central Minzu University Teaching Advanced Individual", “South-Central Minzu University Excellent Faculty CPC member", "South-Central Minzu University May Fourth Faculty Pioneer", " South-Central University Excellent Female Faculty ". During the fight against Covid-19 epidemic, she carefully guided students to complete their studies and actively recommended students for employment. She successively created more than 10 series of popular science videos related to the prevention and control of Covid-19, including How far are we from having a Covid-19 vaccine?, Scientific Understanding of "Asymptomatic Infection", Strengthen Confidence in Resuming Work and Production, Plague History Shines into Reality, Typhoid Mary: Asymptomatic Infection", which has been posted on "Xuexi Qiangguo" "People's Daily", "CCTV" and other authoritative media. Her advanced deeds have been reported by many media such as "People's Daily" and "China Education News." Meanwhile, due to the remarkable achievements in popular science fight against the epidemic, she was invited to participate in the 20th anniversary kick-off ceremony of the 2020 Science and Technology Activity Week, with the theme of "Fight the Epidemic with Science and Technology ", giving an on-site explanation for party and state leaders and the leaders from 38 departments including organs of the CPC Central Committee and the state, Central Military Commission Science and Technology Commission.
