Recently, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education released the recognition results of 2020 provincial-level first-class undergraduate courses. SCMU has a total of 18 courses selected, including 3 online first-class courses, 9 offline first-class courses, and 2 online and offline mixed first-class courses and 4 virtual simulation experiment teaching first-class course.

Up to now, SCMU has 9 national-level first-class undergraduate courses and 27 provincial-level first-rate undergraduate courses. The university will continue to take the first-class undergraduate courses as the guidance, giving full play to the demonstration and leading role of the first-class undergraduate courses, and constantly promote the deepening of "classroom revolution" and "learning revolution", comprehensively enhancing the level of curriculum construction and the quality of talent cultivation.
