On the morning of June 25, Hubei Province Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held in Hongshan Auditorium, Wuhan. Wang Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Wang Menghui, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Governor Wang Zhonglin, Deputy Secretary of Hubei Provincial Party Committee, presided over the meeting. Bian Jing, Secretary of the SCMU Party Committee also attended the meeting. The Decision of the People's Government of Hubei Province on the Science and Technology Awards of Hubei Province for 2021 was read out at the meeting, and a total of 300 provincial science and technology achievements (people) was awarded. Among them, six scientific and technological achievements, including one special prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes were awarded to SCMU.

It is reported that in 2021, two outstanding contributions, 43 natural science achievements, 40 technological invention achievements, 190 science and technology progress achievements, 10 science and technology achievement promotion award, and 15 science and technology SME innovation awards were granted.

In recent years, SCMU has continuously promoted scientific research on national strategies and regional development. SCMU actively promotes the transformation of scientific and technological achievements by focusing on improving the ability of independent innovation and continuously optimizing the layout of scientific and technological innovation. Meanwhile, we encourage original innovation and intellectual property protection, and vigorously nurture iconic achievements and innovation teams to better enhance the innovation level of scientific research teams, thereby strengthening scientific research of our school.
