To promote the employment of 2023 graduates, medium-sized job fairs for 2023 graduates were held on campus on September 16, 18, and 20 respectively. Relevant persons in charge met recruiters and guided students to apply for jobs on site, including staff of the Department of Recruitment and Employment, deans of each school, and counselors.
More than 150 companies attended the job fairs, including China Gezhouba Group Company, China Railway Construction Group Company, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, Shenzhen Yuwei Information and Technology Development CO., Ltd., Wuhan Kingsoft Software CO., Ltd., and so on. More than 1890 positions were provided, covering software development, material science and technology, bio-pharmaceuticals, education, marketing management, media, etc., and over 3650 resumes were received. The recruiting representatives hope to recruit candidates with active thinking and positive working attitude, and the SCMU graduates were recognized for their comprehensive abilities. Zhang, a major in Computer Science, is confident to find a satisfactory job in the fairs on campus.
In addition, enterprise presentations on campus have been held since September 12. More than 20 enterprises, including WuHan TianMa Microelectronics Co., Ltd., Wuhan Guide Infrared, Hubei Saning Chemical, and Guangxi Yangxiang Co., Ltd., introduced themselves and recruited graduates in SCMU.

At the beginning of the new semester, the Department of Recruitment and Employment and all schools, in coordinating the pandemic prevention and control and campus recruitment, adopted different measures with graduates’ job hunting, including release information on the official website, and in Wechat official account, and guide them to analyze and screen positions.
