15 SCMZU Students Admitted as 2023 International Chinese Language Education Volunteers

On January 6, 15 SCMZU students, including undergraduates and postgraduates, were admitted as 2023 International Chinese Language Education Volunteers. They will teach Chinese voluntarily in Korea, Malaysia and Thailand from February this year.


To promote international Chinese language teaching, SCMZU has actively organized the application, mobilizing students who are interested. So far,  applications for volunteer positions in Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, the United Kingdom, Spain, Egypt and other countries have been carried out.


In 2023, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation plans to recruit more than 1,600 international Chinese language education volunteers to teach in 22 countries around the world. Currently, the third batch of volunteer positions in Cambodia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, UK, Spain, Ecuador, Mexico, Dominica, Indonesia, Austria, Egypt, and Mauritius are under recruitment.


It is reported that 17 undergraduates and postgraduates of SCMZU are now engaged in Chinese language teaching voluntarily in Cambodia, Thailand and Laos, contributing to the promotion of Chinese language education, cultural exchanges and friendship between Chinese and foreign people.
