On the morning of March 16, Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held in Hongshan Assembly Hall of Wuhan. Wang Menghui,  Secretary of CPC Hubei Provincial Committee, and Wang Zhonglin, Deputy Secretary of CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and Governor of Hubei Province, attended the conference and delivered a speech. The Decision of Hubei Provincial People’s Government on the 2022 Hubei Science and Technology Award was read out at the conference, in which 297 scientific and technological achievements (persons) and 15 enterprises won the awards. Among the five scientific and technological achievements led and finished by research teams of SCMZU, four won the second prize of Hubei Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and one won the third prize.

It is reported that among the list of 2022 Hubei Science and Technology Award, there were two Outstanding Contributors, 48 Natural Science Awards, 29 Technological Invention Awards, 208 Science and Technology Progress Awards, 10 Science and Technology Achievements Promotion Awards, and 15 Innovative SMEs Awards.
