Li Hongyan and her team focused their visit on Building 6 in the South Campus. In the dormitory rooms, Li engaged in cordial conversations with the students, inquiring about their recent academic and living situations. She listened attentively to the students’ thoughts and reminded them to prioritize dormitory safety, maintain a sense of gratitude, and stay in touch with their parents during the holiday period. She encouraged them to face the new semester and its challenges with a positive attitude, adjust their study and life routines, and approach their studies with enthusiasm. Li also distributed festive gifts including mooncakes, fruits, and yogurt to each student. She noted that the Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional Chinese holiday symbolizing reunion and happiness. She expressed hope that students would feel the warmth and care of the university beyond their academic pursuits and wished them a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

Students participating in the “Growth Guardian Program” expressed that this surprise made them feel the festive atmosphere and the university’s care. Despite being far from home, they felt the warmth of the SCMU family, creating lasting and beautiful memories. The “Growth Guardian Program” aims to provide political guidance, care for students’ daily lives, academic support, and psychological counseling. This initiative is a significant measure by the university’s Party Committee to deepen the “Three All-Round Education” work and effectively integrate Party building with moral education.
