From October 25th to 26th, the 19thNational Reagent and Application Technology Exchange Conference, hosted by the National Chemical Reagent Information Center and the Oil Crops Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and co-organized by the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of our university and the Editorial Department ofChemical Reagents, was held at our university.
Academician Chai Zhifang of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Academician Qing Fengling of CAS, Academician Qian Xuhong of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), 23 high-level talents including recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and specially appointed professors under the major national talent programs, as well as representatives from universities, research institutions, enterprises across the country, and faculty and students of our university, totaling over 600 people, participated in the conference and exchange activities. The entire conference was live-streamed with graphics and text, attracting over 210,000 views, receiving widespread attention from the academic community.
On the morning of October 25th, the opening ceremony of the conference was held in the Guanggu Concert Hall of our university. Academician Chai Zhifang, Liu Yi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of our university, Wang Xinfa, Deputy Director of the Oil Crops Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Yang Hongxun, Deputy General Manager of Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd., and He Hui, Director of the National Chemical Reagent Information Center, delivered speeches respectively. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor She Yuanbin from Zhejiang University of Technology, the executive chairman of the conference.

During the plenary session, Academician Chai Zhifang, Academician Qian Xuhong, Academician Qing Fengling, and Professor She Yuanbin delivered keynote reports titledIsotopes - Special Chemical Reagents,Microfluidic Chemistry and Microfluidics for Ultra-Limit Manufacturing and Their Applications,Discovery of Non-classical Fluoroalkyl Radical Reagents, andApplication of Metalloporphyrin Special Reagents in Photocatalysis and Food Safety Detection, respectively, and engaged in interactive exchanges with the participants.

On the afternoon of October 25thand the morning of October 26th, in six parallel sessions focusing on“Big Health Industry”,“High-End Reagents”,“Reference Materials”,“Electronic Chemicals”,“High-Quality Development of the Reagent Industry”, and“Master’s and Doctoral Student Conference”, participants conducted in-depth discussions on the frontier areas, application prospects, and future development directions of chemical reagents and application technology, centered around the conference theme.

The conference also presented awards to recipients of theChemical ReagentsOutstanding Editorial Board Member, Excellent Editorial Board Member, and Young Editorial Board Member awards, the Gold Cooperation Award, and winners of the“Sinopharm Cup”paper competition.
It is reported that this exchange conference, under the theme“Focusing on Technological Innovation, Chemical Reagents Empowering Interdisciplinary Integration”, meticulously built a high-end platform for academic discussion, interdisciplinary exchange, and industry collaboration, comprehensively showcasing the latest research progress and achievements in the field of chemical reagents. It played a positive role in further promoting the development of disciplines such as chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, and biology at the university.
