At the meeting, a representative from the Office of Employment and Alumni Affairs reported on recent employment work, presented relevant data on employment, contract signing, and further studies for the Class of 2026, explained the guiding opinions on graduate entrance examination and further study targets for the 15thFive-Year Plan period, and arranged key tasks for the near term. Huang Benjin, Deputy Director of the Undergraduate School, made arrangements in line with the requirements of the “enrollment, training, and employment” linkage mechanism, focusing on incorporating the highlights of employment-oriented education into enrollment publicity. Wang Weifang, Deputy Director of the Office of Student Affairs of the University Party Committee, introduced the safety, stability, and assistance work for the Class of 2026, stressing the need to strengthen safety awareness and reinforce the safety and stability of graduates.
Qin Rui delivered a concluding speech, putting forward three clear requirements for the University’s employment work. First, deepen the construction of the “enrollment, training, and employment” linkage mechanism, pool the efforts of all staff, take the increase of the graduate entrance examination and further study rate as an important lever to promote high-quality employment, and spare no effort to strive toward the further study targets of the 15thFive-Year Plan period. Second, vice deans in charge of teaching should effectively strengthen program development, optimize training plans and teaching syllabi, and continuously improve the alignment between talent cultivation and market demand. Third, properly ensure the safety and stability of graduates, pay close attention to their thoughts and psychological conditions, provide targeted “one-student, one-strategy” assistance to disadvantaged graduates, and safeguard their smooth transition to employment.
