On December 29, 2022, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation released the results of the 2023 “International Chinese Language Day” project, among which Chinese Art & Multi-Culture: Chinese Music and Dance Series Exhibition from SCMU was approved and received a fund of RMB 480,000.
Chinese Art & Multi-Culture: Chinese Music and Dance Series Exhibition, consisting of 10 representative music and dance videos promoted on domestic and international platforms, is organized by the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and implemented by the School of Music and Dance, whose main goal is to boost cultural self-confidence and enhance Chinese culture influence. The Head of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office said that the approval of the project is conducive to building the foreign publicity brand of SCMU and enhance the ability to serve the high-quality and sustainable development of international Chinese education.
It is reported that the “International Chinese Language Day” project aims to promote cultural exchanges between Chinese and foreign civilizations, and advance the development of international Chinese language education.
