Many teachers expressed that they found the training for science instructors particularly inspiring. In the student science classes, SCMU experts explained botany science knowledge and unveiled the mysteries of artificial intelligence, cryptography, and microchips. They presented engaging images and experiments, interacting with students to help them grasp scientific concepts more vividly and develop skills in observation, analysis, and problem-solving.

During the visit to Debao County, professors from the School of Resources and Environment and the School of Pharmacy conducted field research at Debao County Deliu Manganese Industry Co., Ltd. They provided professional technical guidance and consultation tailored to the company’s specific needs, addressing issues related to environmental protection, resource utilization efficiency, and product development. The team also visited Defu Community in Chengguan Town, Debao County, to educate residents on topics such as medicinal herb cultivation and proper medication use.

This initiative is part of the broader effort to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on strengthening and improving ethnic affairs work. It also aligns with the spirit of the further strengthening science and technology popularization work in the new era and the relevant plans for ethnic affairs work during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. SCMU will continue to strengthen cooperation with various parties, innovate in science education forms and content, and provide more intellectual support and technological backing for the educational development of border regions.
