Since September, SCMU has achieved significant success in securing national research funding for 2024. The National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences has approved 19 projects under the National Social Science Foundation (NSSF) program, comprising one Key Project, sixteen General Projects, and two Youth Projects. This achievement positions SCMU as 83rd nationally among all universities, 6th in Hubei Province, and 2nd among universities affiliated with the National Ethnic Affairs Commission.
Additionally, the Ministry of Education’s Department of Social Sciences has approved 12 projects under its Humanities and Social Sciences Research Program, marking a dramatic increase of nine projects compared to the previous year and setting a five-year record.
