From August 7 to 10, the 41st CCF National Conference of Computer Applications (CCF NCCA 2026) was held in Wuhan. Centered on the theme “Building the Foundation with Intelligent Computing, Integrating the Ecosystem; Reshaping Paradigms through Full-Stack Intelligence”, the conference was sponsored by the China Computer Federation (CCF), and co‑organized by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, Huazhong Agricultural University and SCMU. More than 1,000 delegates from universities, research institutes and enterprises nationwide, together with over 3,000 contestants of the CCF National Computer Application Technology Competition, attended the event.
Distinguished scholars including Academicians Huang Wei and Zhang Yanning of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Academician He You of the Chinese Academy of Engineering were invited to deliver keynote reports. The conference featured diverse sessions such as the University Presidents’ Forum, thematic seminars, an Embodied Intelligence Workshop and paper review sessions, showcasing cutting‑edge research advances and industrial application achievements in artificial intelligence, big data, computing infrastructure and other fields.

As a co‑organizer, the School of Computer Science (School of Artificial Intelligence) showcased its industry‑university‑research achievements in intelligent computing in recent years at the exhibition area, and took deep part in academic sessions including technical competitions and thematic forums. During the conference, Tie Jun, Dean of the School, gave a special presentation at the University‑Enterprise Talent Attraction Forum. He introduced the development overview, disciplinary layout and talent recruitment policies of our university and the School of Computer Science (School of Artificial Intelligence), integrating talent recruitment into the academic conference scenario.

In recent years, the School of Computer Science (School of Artificial Intelligence) has consistently regarded academic exchanges as a key driver for disciplinary development. It has proactively engaged in national‑level academic ecosystems and steadily improved its capacity for scientific‑research innovation and the quality of talent training. According to Tie Jun, co‑organizing this conference represents another pragmatic exploration for the School to organically integrate academic engagement with talent recruitment and cultivation and advance high‑quality disciplinary development. Leveraging national‑level platforms such as CCF, the School will further expand its academic cooperation network and produce more landmark achievements.
