From July 19 to 22, the School of Computer Science at SCMU held a revolutionary tradition education training program titled “Inheriting the Red Gene, Continuing the Red Bloodline” at the Jinggangshan Cadre Training Center in Jiangxi Province. The program was attended by 29 party member faculty, including Ke Zuntao, the school’s party secretary, Wang Weifang, deputy party secretary, Zhang Xiao, vice dean, and Li Zuozhu, union chairman.

The training employed various methods, including lectures, field studies, scenario-based teaching, and interactive learning. The program offered a comprehensive, immersive, and multi-dimensional interpretation of the Jinggangshan spirit, serving as both an ideological root-seeking journey and a spiritual reinforcement exercise.
In his motivational speech, Ke Zuntao emphasized the importance of the training in strengthening the party member cadre team, enhancing party spirit education, and exploring the integration of party building with professional work. He urged participants to connect their learning with improving party consciousness, job performance, and strategic thinking, contributing to the development of new engineering disciplines and the school’s reform and upgrading.
Professor Chen Shenghua from the Jinggangshan Cadre College delivered a report on “The Jinggangshan Struggle and Spirit”, while Professor Wu Xiaomin from the Jiangxi Provincial Party School expounded on Xi Jinping’s cultural thought. Participants visited various revolutionary sites, including the Jinggangshan Struggle Panorama Exhibition Hall, the Octagonal Building, and the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery, where they laid wreaths and renewed their party oaths.

The participants expressed that the training provided a spiritual renewal and profound inspiration. They pledged to further elevate their political stance, enhance party consciousness, and improve their ability to fulfill responsibilities, committing to practice and promote the Jinggangshan spirit in their respective positions.
