On the afternoon of July 3, the "Journey through China · Exploring Jingchu Culture - Ethnic Art Exchange Camp" organized by our university commenced at the Academic Exchange Center. The opening ceremony was attended by Fang Debin, Vice President and Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee; representatives from the School of Fine Arts and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office; instructors of the exchange camp; and 24 camp participants from Taiwan. The ceremony was hosted by Sun Xiaoli, Director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office.

Fang Debin extended a warm welcome to the camp participants on behalf of the university. He briefly introduced the university's history and current status, reviewed the university's exchanges with Taiwanese compatriots from ethnic minority groups, and presented an overview of Jingchu culture. He encouraged all participants to engage in heartfelt communication through art exchange, learn from each other, and consciously become guardians, inheritors, and promoters of Chinese culture.
