On the morning of November 4, a large-scale job fair held in front of the school gymnasium was bustling with activity. Over 60 employers participated, offering more than 300 positions with over 3,000 job openings, covering fields such as new media operations, engineering design, and biomedicine. Notably, among the 647 individuals who reached preliminary employment intentions at the job fair, many turned their attention to the Xinjiang region. This achievement is attributed to the series of targeted measures SCMU has implemented this semester to promote employment in Xinjiang.

To actively respond to the national Western Development Strategy and contribute to talent development in Xinjiang, SCMU has fully leveraged its alumni resources and proactively engaged with employment opportunities in Xinjiang. By bringing in high-quality job opportunities, SCMU has established a career pathway for students to work in Xinjiang. It is reported that SCMU has successfully attracted 28 public institutions from Xinjiang, offering 521 positions, as well as 116 enterprises, providing 314 job openings. These opportunities span various fields such as education, healthcare, engineering, and finance, meeting the employment needs of students from diverse academic backgrounds.

In addition, the university has also leveraged various employment policies and launched online promotional activities for employment opportunities in western Xinjiang, enabling students to access employment information from the region without leaving their homes. To further enhance students' understanding of employment prospects in Xinjiang, the Office of Employment and Alumni Affairs has established regular communication channels with the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and fostered strong collaborative ties with the Xinjiang Exit-Entry Border Inspection Corps. These efforts have facilitated annual recruitment initiatives by Xinjiang-related units at SCMU in recent years. Beyond on-campus recruitment activities, the university has also organized students to participate in related events at other institutions. On the afternoon of October 28, students were arranged to attend dedicated enterprise and institution promotion sessions for Xinjiang at Wuhan University of Science and Technology and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. On the morning of October 31, students were invited to attend a briefing session on the Xinjiang civil service recruitment program at Wuhan University. These multiple dedicated events collectively attracted over 200 graduates, allowing students to engage in face-to-face interactions with employers from Xinjiang, gain in-depth insights into job requirements, salary packages, and career development prospects, thereby eliminating information barriers for students considering employment opportunities in Xinjiang.

At the job fair, many underclassmen also showed interest in job opportunities in Xinjiang, seeking to "explore the path" early and understand market demands. "By learning about the job needs in Xinjiang, I now have a clearer direction for my future academic studies and career planning," said a sophomore student.

It is reported that the university will continue to deepen cooperation with employers in Xinjiang and carry out more targeted employment service activities. This will provide stronger support for students seeking employment in Xinjiang, helping more of them realize their personal value in the region and contribute their youthful energy to the development of Xinjiang.
