On the afternoon of November 18, SCMU and Hubei Yangtze River Film Group Co., Ltd. held the signing and unveiling ceremony for the establishment of a campus ideological and political film education base through university-enterprise collaboration at the Academic Exchange Center. Attendees included Zhu Yulong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hubei Yangtze River Film Group Co., Ltd., Xie Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the group, and relevant leaders of Hubei Yinxing Cinema Line. Representing SCMU were Xu Yeqin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Ma Yutang, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President, along with heads of relevant departments and representatives of teachers and students. The ceremony was presided over by Ma Yutang.

Xu Yeqin expressed his sincere gratitude to Hubei Yangtze River Film Group and extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the campus ideological and political film education base. He noted that Hubei Yangtze River Film Group has been deeply committed to the field of ideological and political film education in higher education institutions, effectively integrating public welfare screenings with extracurricular activities. By leveraging the unique advantages of film art in "cultivating minds through beauty and moving hearts with emotion," the initiative has successfully unified value guidance and aesthetic education. He expressed his hope that this collaboration would serve as an opportunity to leverage the high-quality resources and professional expertise of the Yangtze River Film Group. Through this partnership, the silver screen could become a "mobile classroom for ideological and political education," enabling students to perceive the warmth of history through cinematic art, draw spiritual strength, and reinforce their sense of mission and responsibility.

Zhu Yulong introduced the recent development of Hubei Yangtze River Film Group. He stated that this collaboration is a robust measure to implement the important directives of President Xi Jinping on cultural programs benefiting the people. He expressed hope that through this university-enterprise cooperation, the development of ideological and cultural fronts in higher education institutions will be further strengthened, the spiritual and cultural life on campuses will be enriched, and the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education will be better accomplished, injecting fresh vitality into ideological and political education in universities.

It is reported that the establishment of the campus ideological and political film education base marks a significant milestone for the university in expanding the "Comprehensive Ideological and Political Education" model. It will serve as a high ground for aesthetic education, disseminating mainstream values and nurturing the minds of students, as well as an important platform for cultivating a new generation capable of undertaking the responsibilities of the era. In the future, both the university and the enterprise will continue to deepen their collaboration, jointly using the "silver screen" to illuminate the path of fostering character and talent, and using "light and shadow" to tell the story of the Chinese national community. Together, they will make new and greater contributions to cultivating a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.
