Fifty young cadres from various departments of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, its affiliated units, and specially invited colleges and universities closely adhered to the theme of the event. They took The Study Book on the Thoughts of Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Strengthening and Improving Ethnic Work, General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20thCentral Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Outline of the 15thFive-Year Plan as the core learning materials. Based on their actual work situations, they passionately narrated, using vivid language, real-life examples, and sincere emotions, the stories of responsibility and dedication of young cadres in the ethnic affairs system in the new era in the work of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation. The contestants, some passionate and stirring, others calm and eloquent, fully demonstrate the fine conduct of young people who are good at learning and thinking, skilled in taking action and delivering results, as well as their uplifting and aspiring spirit.

In his speech, Wang Shouli stressed that the Party Leadership Group of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission has always attached great importance to youth work, building the Youth Reading and Speech Activity into a key platform for theoretical learning among young people, an innovative forum for intellectual exchange, and a vivid classroom for fostering the sense of community for the Chinese nation. The Commission is committed to cultivating a high-caliber team of young ethnic affairs officials who are eager and adept at learning. He sincerely hopes that young people will persist in reading the original texts, reading in light of practical realities, reading with specific questions in mind, reading with deep commitment, and reading beyond the books — truly internalizing theoretical learning and putting it into practice. On the new journey at the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, he urges them to contribute, with the vigor of youth and the spirit of hard work, to consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation and advancing the building of the Chinese national community.
